After three months after the initial treatment, you may need a touch-up. This will extend the longevity of the filler to about 12-18 months.
Does Radiesse injections hurt?
Generally, the injection should not hurt, instead, you might feel a slight pinch during the treatment. Numbing options are available for patients who might feel slight discomfort, though Radiesse is typically well tolerated. Directly after receiving the injection, you might see potential redness or some swelling.
Where can Radiesse be injected?
Radiesse is a dermal filler that is used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). Radiesse can also be used to add volume to the back of the hand.
Complications associated with Radiesse:
Do not use Rediesse if you are allergic to lidocaine or similar medicine, if you have a bleeding disorder, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Risk using this product is unintentional injection into a blood vessel. Chances of this happening are very small. If this does happen, complications can be serious and permanent.
